This tutorial is general in nature, and is meant to help focus your studies, and provide a review of major concepts introduced in each chapter. It is not meant to be a substitute for your textbook. It is a "work in progress" and will be edited, and added to, on an ongoing basis. I only cover textbook chapters used in my online accounting classes; other chapters have been omitted, although they contain valuable information. Much of the information in the tutorial is what I give
my students in a live classroom environment. They are essentially my lectures,
boiled down and put on a web page. And then I add more information just
for my online students.

The highest baseball career batting averages are held
by Ty Cobb (.366) and Rogers Hornsby (.358), two of the best players in
the history of baseball. They struck out twice as often as they got a hit.
They were the best because they were always ready to step up to the plate
and take a swing. You'll never win any games sitting on the bench. Let
every failure teach you to try harder and do better.
